Benefits of Club Affiliation​

Registering to run with Peacehaven Run Club, you will become an England Athletics registered athlete. You'll be part of a nationwide community of athletes and runners whilst also helping us to support your club and the sport we all love. Your registration fee not only benefits the sport as a whole but also gives you access to a range of benefits and services.

Structured Training Programs

  • Guidance: The goal as an affiliated run club is to provide additional structured sessions designed by LiRF leaders, catering to all levels from beginners to advanced runners.

  • Goal Setting: These sessions will help you set and achieve personal running goals, whether it's completing your first 10K, getting a 1 mile PB or training for a marathon.

Motivation and Accountability

  • Group Dynamics: Running with others keeps you motivated and makes it easier to stay consistent with your training.

  • Accountability: Being part of a group encourages you to show up for scheduled runs, as you don't want to let your teammates down.

  • Discounts: Members may receive discounts on race entries, running gear, and services from affiliated businesses, saving money in the long run.

Opportunities for Competition

  • Race Entries: We have teams that compete in local, regional, or national races, giving you the opportunity to represent Peacehaven Run Club and compete at a higher level. When running as part of Peacehaven Run Club, it's not always the time that matters. There are lots of ways to earn points for the club such as race positioning, age categories also just by taking part will gain the club points. 

  • Team Support: Racing as part of the team provides encouragement and support, which can improve your performance.

Improved Safety

  • Group Runs: Running in a group is generally safer than running alone, especially in less populated areas or at night.

  • Guidance on Safety Practices: Peacehaven Run Club educates members on safe running practices, helping reduce the risk of injury.
